Grid Control Technologies – Head Office Fit-Out
A full turnkey interior solution for Grid Control Technologies’ new head office — a 3,000-square-metre facility housed in a newly constructed building. As a tech-driven company operating at the forefront of smart metering and utility management, their space needed to reflect both innovation and precision.
From initial space planning to final furniture installation, the brief called for an environment that could support multiple departments working in sync, while showcasing the company’s identity through design. The layout was carefully configured to balance openness with structure, supporting collaboration without compromising focus.
A modern, industrial-inspired aesthetic guided the interior design, aligning with Grid Control’s technology-first mindset. We embraced raw finishes and bold materials — working with concrete, black steel detailing, and steel mesh to create focal points and texture throughout. Sustainability was also a key priority. As a company focused on responsible resource management, Grid Control was committed to a space that reflected those values. We specified sustainable materials and finishes, and prioritised natural light and airflow by keeping the floorplan open, using generous glazing, and allowing for passive ventilation wherever possible.
